Hello. This is a guide to how to Role Play (RP) in America Online (AOL) chat rooms. This is not a guide to Real Life-Role Play (RL-RP) or a guide to any of the specialized ways of playing, like WW. The way I explain is called Free Form Game Forum, which is explained more at KeyWord: FFGF. The chat rooms I refer to usually have 'tavern', 'hall, 'inn', 'castle', 'forest', etc. in the title somewhere, though not all chat rooms with this in the titles are RP ones, and not all RP rooms have these words, but I digress.

Note: This is not a complete and total explanation of every aspect of role playing. Especially in the areas of guilds/kingdoms/clans etc., you will need to find out on your own how those work. This guide is merely here to help you learn how to start in your adventures.
